Christmas Checklist

Once again, it's Christmas time! This is my first Christmas away from my family. But I feel like it will be one of the best yet. I just need to have a good attitude about it. Even though I can't be with my family in America or with my sister in Brazil, It shouldn't be too hard because I love Northern Ireland, my team-mates, and my new family here. I made a blog about this last year, and I feel like everyone has a wee check-list in their mind of how to make the holidays perfect.

This is mine:

Decorating the Christmas tree with your family (or in my case, My team-mates!)
Eating a candy cane
Drinking hot cocoa
A fire in the fireplace
Snow coming down in thick flakes

Building a snow man (or snow woman)

wearing a million layers when you go outside
Watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Elf ,The Santa Clause, Home Alone,Rudolph, and Frosty.
Picking out the perfect gifts for everyone!
The Smell of pine trees, cinnamon, and burning wood.
Listening to Christmas music on December 1st.

Singing Christmas tunes obnoxiously

Going into town to see the Christmas lights

Attempt to make Cookies and decorate them
Believing in Santa

Leaving Santa Milk and cookies (or tortillas, depending on your nationality lol)

Sending out Christmas cards

When you open a gift you don't like you smile and act like its the best thing ever
making sure your family and friends know how much you love them (and miss them)
